AI-powered developer tools are everywhere right now—and they’re changing how software gets built.

From code generation to debugging and testing, these tools can handle a growing number of tasks that used to require manual effort. For many developers, it feels like having a supercharged assistant.

But not everyone is celebrating.

On one side of the debate, you have developers who see these tools as a massive productivity boost. They can write code faster, experiment more freely, and focus on higher-level problem solving instead of repetitive tasks.

For them, AI is a clear win.

On the other side, there are concerns about quality, reliability, and long-term impact. AI-generated code isn’t always perfect. It can include subtle bugs, security vulnerabilities, or inefficient patterns that aren’t immediately obvious.
